How We Manage Health & Safety
We do this by:
- Carrying out risk assessments for service users, staff, and work activities
- Providing training and guidance on safe working practices, including manual handling and infection prevention
- Ensuring the safe use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Encouraging the reporting of accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses
- Reviewing and improving our health and safety practices regularly
Responsibilities
- Management has overall responsibility for health and safety within the service
- Staff are expected to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others, and to follow policies and procedures
